Footmarks Powers the 2015 Chicago Auto Show with Beacon Technology

Tens of thousands of visitors to last month’s Chicago Auto Show took Footmarks’ beacon technology for a test-drive. Organizers of the 2015 Chicago Auto Show – the nation’s largest automotive showcase – added beacon technology to this year’s attractions, using Footmarks’ app SDK and SmartConnect™ Platform to create an interactive journey for visitors and the opportunity for Android device owners to earn rewards, prizes, and even a car. Footmarks, and our valued event partner Mobile App Messaging, used beacons to created zones of engagement within the more than 1 million sq. ft. of exhibit space.   Zones included partners Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan, and Volvo, as well as sponsor State Farm Insurance, and local television channel ABC7, which broadcast the use of beacons at the event.
